Michael Rippey

Michael’s paintings reflect the many years he has spent living on or near Lake Michigan, including 25 years in the Chicago area, and 20 years living full-time or part-time on Michigan’s “Art Coast.” He recalls almost always having an easel and painting supplies stashed somewhere, bringing them out occasionally for a painting or two, but didn’t become a serious artist until retirement. He retired to Douglas, Michigan in 2013, and he and his wife, Durenda now live in Holland, MI.
